| Why the casein paint ? Casein painting is an ancestral technique which goes up at the end of the XV° century. It results from a protein of milk more usually called "painting with soft white cheese", it is a technique which thus largely proved reliable in time. It is used like a gouache, it is soluble in water, and of a great simplicity of application. It applies to wood, paperboard, fabric or terra cotta. It is a completely general-purpose painting as well on the level of the supports used as the various choices of;fonds application, floral reasons, mislead the eye, false marbles, died natures, architectures, landscapes, etc... Its returned is comparable with old paintings with knowing; velvety, a matity and a depth close to largest chief-of works recognized since strong a long time (see Giotto, Piero Of Francesca and well of others). As of many contemporaries such Balthus who made of it a working tool incontournable.Son time of drying is slower than the acrylic resin and this without having to add there of chemical retarder. It is waxed or patinated easily and adopted a quite particular depth immediately. It is a painting manufactured artisanalement in the respect of the tradition using entirely natural products; pigmentation, caséïne, vegetable gum and purified water. It is a resistant and indelible painting. We advise in completion to patinate with a colourless wax or to varnish using a varnish chechmate with alcohol. |

OVERLAY CAPACITY : 750ml / 4 to 6 m². DILUTION : with water. MATERIAL CLEANING : with water. Hermetically reclose the pot after use. Cannot stand the frost. Stock between 10°C and 25°C. Pigmentation without Cadmium neither Chromate. All the colors are miscible each other. Product stable at the light, indoor use. |
